Autum in the Jemez

Living in New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment, we have unlimited photo ops of ancient dwellings and pueblos.  One beautiful sunny day we were taking photographs at Jemez National Monument after stopping along the way at a roadside stand where Native Americans made fresh Navajo tacos…the best you’ve ever tasted, by the way…

For some reason, every time we went to Jemez, something happened to Carole.  This particular time she stepped in a hole in the hard packed earth, broke her ankle and took this photograph all at the same time.
